Critically Sovereign Indigenous Gender Sexuality and Feminist Studies is a groundbreaking work that examines the intersection of Indigenous sovereignty, gender, sexuality, and feminist studies. With contributions from leading scholars in the field, this book provides a critical analysis of the ways in which Indigenous peoples have been marginalized and oppressed, and offers new ways of thinking about Indigenous identity, sovereignty, and self-determination.

The book is divided into four parts. The first part, "Sovereignty and Self-Determination," examines the concept of Indigenous sovereignty and its implications for Indigenous peoples' rights to self-determination. The second part, "Gender and Sexuality," explores the ways in which gender and sexuality are constructed and experienced by Indigenous peoples. The third part, "Feminist Studies," examines the ways in which feminist studies can be used to challenge the oppression of Indigenous women and girls. The fourth part, "Intersections," brings together the different strands of the book to explore the ways in which Indigenous sovereignty, gender, sexuality, and feminist studies intersect.
