Through her keen observation and empathy, she brings their inner worlds to life, revealing their fears, joys, and resilience. In one particularly moving essay, she tells the story of a young wolf who is forced to leave his pack and embark on a perilous journey to find a new home. Kennedy vividly portrays the wolf's struggles and triumphs as he navigates the dangers of the wilderness, providing a powerful reminder of the challenges and wonders that animals face in their daily lives.

Kennedy's writing is not only informative but also deeply moving. She has a gift for finding the beauty and wonder in the natural world, and her passion for animals shines through on every page. Other Nations is a powerful and thought-provoking work that will stay with readers long after they finish it. It is a must-read for anyone who loves animals, nature, and the written word.
