Walking In Memphis is a haunting and unforgettable novel by Jessie Ash that will stay with you long after you finish reading it. Set in the American South, the novel tells the story of two women, one black and one white, who are haunted by the past and by their own personal demons.

Ruth is a young black woman who has just moved to Memphis from Chicago. She's looking for a new start, but she soon finds herself haunted by the ghost of a young white girl who was murdered in the apartment she's now living in. Meanwhile, Maggie is a white woman who is struggling to come to terms with her own past. She's haunted by the memory of her abusive father, and she's struggling to find her place in the world.

As Ruth and Maggie's lives intertwine, they begin to realize that they have more in common than they thought. They're both haunted by the past, and they're both searching for redemption. Walking In Memphis is a powerful and moving story about race, class, and the power of forgiveness. It's a novel that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
